Eligibility: To be eligible, the applicant must be 62 years or older at the time of application.
The waiting list for Studio and 1-Bedroom units at Strawberry Creek Lodge opens on August 14, 2024, at 9:00 AM. Applications will be available to submit online. A valid email address is required to apply online. Online applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on August 21, 2024.
Paper applications will be available to pick up and drop off at 1320 Addison Street, Berkeley, CA 94702 at the following times:
Paper applications will also be available online to print. Paper applications must be mailed to 1320 Addison Street, Attn: Property Manager, Berkeley, CA 94702. Paper applications must be postmarked by August 21, 2024 AND received by the manager's office by 5:00 PM on August 28, 2024.
A lottery will be conducted for all applications received by the deadline. All applicants will be placed on the waiting list for consideration. The 24-hour support phone line will open on August 14, 2024 at 9:00 AM and close on August 21, 2024 at 5:00 PM. Please call (833) 491-2908 for assistance.

Strawberry Creek Lodge was originally developed in 1962 and is nestled into the heart of Berkeley. The Lodge holds a community of 150 senior households active in their Berkeley community. SAHA partnered with Strawberry Creek Lodge Foundation to refinance and remodel the Lodge including seismic and building upgrades. SAHA also provides property management services, as well as provide on-site service coordination.
