SAHA’s track record for providing professional, high-quality property management stretches back to 1971 and across seven Northern California counties. We currently manage over 3,600 affordable rental apartments for families, seniors and those with special needs in 75 developments with the goal of ensuring a high quality of life for our residents and properties whose physical and financial health make them an asset to their neighborhoods. Our portfolio also includes more than 36,000 feet of retail and commercial space.
In addition to managing our own affordable housing properties, SAHA also provides a full array of fee-based property management services to other non-profit agencies through our affiliate SAHA PM. Our scope includes rent collection, leasing, resident relations, landlord/tenant legal actions, preventive maintenance, routine and emergency maintenance, compliance reporting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
SAHA PM employs a staff of over 140 professionals. Our property management teams, maintenance technicians, and custodians are supported and trained by property supervisors and the Regional Directors and Vice President of Property Management. Our Facilities Department oversees the facilities maintenance staff, routine and preventive maintenance, and manages capital improvement projects. SAHA’s Asset Management and Compliance Department oversees regulatory requirements and reporting for all properties managed by SAHA PM.
SAHA PM is well versed in the affordable housing industry with experience that includes: HUD 236, HUD 202, HUD 811, Tax Credit, HOME, HCD MHP, HCD RHCP, CalHFA, FHLB AHP, MHSA, local Housing Authority, and other city, county, and state funding programs. In addition, in collaboration with our Resident Services Department, we have deep experience supporting our family, senior, and special needs households throughout our portfolio of properties.
