On July 21, 2015, the community gathered for the Grand Opening of Lakeside Senior Apartments in Oakland. The Contra Costa TImes was there. 

On Tuesday, July 21, Satellite Affordable Housing Associates (SAHA), along with Oakland Housing Initiatives, Inc., will celebrate the grand opening of Lakeside Senior Apartments, 92 affordable homes for low-income and formerly homeless seniors in the Eastlake District of Oakland. The new community will provide affordable homes and comprehensive support services for people ages 55 and older with low incomes, with 32 of those homes set aside for seniors with special needs.

Camino 23 is one of 28 projects awarded "cap and trade" funds for it's green house gas reductions, transit plan and enhanced streets capes.

On June 30, SAHA learned that Tabora Gardens and Valley View were both awarded Veterans Housing and Homeless Prevention Program Funding Awards.

Spring is here and SAHA is buzzing with grand openings, expanded community gardens and a big office move! Thanks to your support, we are creating more affordable homes and opportunities for people most in need.

The Contra Costa Times reports on the grand opening at Arboleda Apartments. New residents, affordable housing champions and the mayor shared an excited view of a different world Thursday at the grand opening of 48 affordable apartments designed around ideas of shared spaces and lives.

Sincere thanks to our amazing supporters for helping us to raise over $150,000 for SAHA’s resident services program.  Almost 200 guests enjoyed an evening of delightful socializing, dining and dancing.  We appreciate you!
