SAHA is working to develop Robin Lane Apartments, a 16-unit affordable housing development with 5 one bedroom apartments reserved for homeless households with mental health issues, and 10 two bedroom apartments with income qualifications for affordable rents.
The project, set to be complete in November 2013, is a rehabilitation of an existing, vacant apartment complex located at 1149 Meadow Lane and 1890 Robin Lane in Concord.  The location is convenient to shops, groceries, and services along Monument Boulevard.  The site is also served by several County Connection bus lines, including direct service to the Concord BART station. SAHA is renovating the existing building to make necessary health and safety repairs, equipment and materials upgrades, and to improve curb appeal.  The rehab scope includes window and roof replacement, improvements to interior finishes and fixtures, and upgrades to the electrical panel. Exterior handrails, stairs, landscaping, fencing, and paving will be repaired and/or upgraded to improve safety and the overall look of the property.
