SAHA is happy to announce that two of our housing developments -- Valley Oak Homes and The Savoy -- were chosen as finalists in Affordable Housing Finance's 2014 Readers' Choice Awards.

Our two projects in competition are:

Valley Oak Homes, a finalist in the Green category, is a vibrant community for low-income working families and a model for sustainable design, countering an extreme affordable housing shortage in the City of Sonoma.

The Savoy, a finalist in the Urban category, transformed two decrepit century-old hotels in downtown Oakland into an enclave of modern, efficient, service-enriched studio apartments for 101 very low-income and formerly homeless men and women.
